It is with little fanfare and with little attention, I announce my little hearth on the Internet: Polar Sun. Having had enough of the modern web for awhile now I went back a little in time and picked a forum as a website instead of the latest and greatest glitzy broken garbage prevalent out there these days. I have a rant on why.
A run down on what I was playing with before I started to think of my sanity. A blogging site for article writing, online file storage to link files in text, another separate service for email, and then there is the concern of having essential workflow items scattered across the Internet on third-party servers. I could not find one solution to what I considered to have basic features. Start with a web page and add the ability to attach files. Check mark one. Wikis, blogs, CMSs, static site generators. Next, an ability for jackasses to voice their meaningless opinions. It is a favourite feature of the Internet of many of us jackasses. Those self-hosting frameworks that do have comments the comment functionality is ugly, broken, pre-2000 primitive and not worth the effort, or if they posses a good commenting feature something else utterly sucks. As a site grows the complexity grows with it and the modern web really breaks down here. To find a simple piece of information becomes harder and harder the more text/files it is has and as the average organization skills of people deteriorate the effect becomes a vacuum where information enters the site and no one can extract it missing the main point of digital technology: the storage and retrieval of information on a scale past imagination a hundred years ago. Cross out a traditional web page paradigm which was solved in the early days of computing with the forum and while the original problem is continuously tried to be solved again. "Next time, I promise you, trust me bro".
Having everything as a file with only directory listings is cool and a folder/file structure makes an excellent database solving the organization problem but what about pages and comments and such, interaction without downloading and opening the file? Interestingly, I had to go back to the beginning: the bulletin board aka forum derived from the BBS (https://www.mooflife.com/history-of-the-internet-and-social-media/moment/first-bulletin-board-system-bbs-created-in-chicago) of early computing history. Text, files, comments, information structured and easily found, refined by decades of experience from heavy use. Information and communication is the natural pull people have towards the Internet. It has made this natural curiosity of people addicts of small easy morsels of bytes, constantly barraged by pixels, in an opium type daze. This is who the modern web is designed for: doom scrolling pixel opium addicts. Then there is the maintenance and technical issues that should not exist with the year being 2026. Customization becomes a specialization. A lot these days for one guy who used to write HTML in text editors without syntax highlighting and write X config files by hand. Yet, the forum software (https://www.simplemachines.org/) this website runs on has been around far longer then the majority of CMSs out there, is more efficient, simpler while having more features, and vastly easier to administer. The modern web has become decadent from the law of entropy. The whole of what is called civilization is decadent and decaying from the natural law of entropy. Time to get back to principles and the simple.
Hence, I picked an "archaic" form of the web to quietly build this little hearth. I have yet to explain why this website exists and have only given a hasty synopsis of the practical reasons why a forum was picked over other options. Studying the stock market I became dissatisfied with the standard indicators and financial equations which are convoluted and lagging, and are not measuring the state of the market in real time. Delving into Fractal Market Hypothesis and chaos theory after finding the mathematics of AI and gambling trading, which both are rooted heavily in probability mathematics, lacking; I had a conceptual shift and discovered a formula that is a state machine. I can now read the market as a physical system, where capital is modelled as a fluid through a pipe. Which I find surprising that more capable people have not come to the same discovery or similar. If they did it is not easily publicly available and is buried. What I have is a game changer and my purpose is to develop it further which is now delving into the secrets of time, build a price target engine around it (next phase), and loot game the stock market. Being a life long big fan of strategy and RTS games, there is no better or bigger game then real life and especially when you have a hack for it.

If you can read and understand that document you may have been in university for too long. Joking aside, if a trader and understand the physics behind it then you have an edge.
